So here it is, iPad day.

After all of the reviews, should you buy one?

I have some really simple suggestions, based on the fact that I think the iPad is great – but not for everyone.

  1. If you want a laptop/notebook and are considering an iPad, you should probably go back to the notebook, unless, you have another PC to use.  The iPad won’t do everything a regular PC will.
  2. If you want to use the iPad for a specific job (like to read academic text books) you need to check online to see what other users are saying, there may be a better tool out there.
  3. If you have another regular PC you use, and you want an iPad for mobility, it’s probably going to rock – but check reviews first – you do not want to be disappointed.
